Boruto -TWO BLUE VORTEX- Manga Begins on August 21

Both the BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS anime and manga are taking a break to help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime franchise, but today the official Twitter account for the series confirmed that the second part of the Boruto manga will return in V Jump’s October issue, which releases on August 21.

Alongside the announcement, a new, older-looking Sarada design was shown alongside the subtitle for the second part: -TWO BLUE VORTEX-. Intriguing!

The Boruto manga, began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016 before moving to to V Jump in July 2019. The series was originally written by Ukyo Kodachi with Masashi Kishimoto taking over duties in 2020 and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto.

The BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS TV anime, which is also on a break, began in March 2017, and was proceeded by Boruto: Naruto the Movie in August 2015. Crunchyroll streams the anime, describing it as such:
