Pop Team Epic manga creator Bkub Okawa went to Twitter earlier today to announce that he and his partner had gotten married on April 30! Okawa celebrated the announcement by sharing a specially drawn image of him and his wife as ducks (maybe?) by himself cutting a seemingly normal cake.

Okawa explained in the announcement that they had moved in together two years ago and since then she had been “propping up this disheveled and lazy person known Bkub.” He went on to sign the announcement with “happy kuso manga boy,” a clear upgrade from the old “japanese kuso manga boy” sign-off – though really, he’s now a happy kuso manga man! They also plan to start a family.

We wish the pair a happy marriage as they embark on the next chapter of their lives – let’s just hope that chapter isn’t from a Pop Team Epic volume, things could be weird.
